![]() This rifle is complete with a winter trigger assembly, a WWII brown leather sling and a reproduction rubber eyepiece. The elevation ring is numbered 1-8 (100-800 meters), and it has the late pattern integral, long rain shield on the front end. The left side of the base of the elevation dial is marked "52049", and the right side is marked "AJACK 4X90". As noted, this sniper rifle is currently fitted with an all blued "Ajack" marked sniper scope with standard turret rings with the front ring numbered "642". The right side of the buttstock and pistol grip area is stamped with a faint "Eagle/WaA135" Waffenamt proofmark. The rifle is fitted with a standard wartime laminated handguard and stock that is fitted with a checkered cupped buttplate. The matching bolt is fitted with a milled low scope safety. The rifle itself has a standard front sight and the military style tangent rear sight graduated to 2000 meters, and the rear of the barrel is marked "44E38". The rifle has the late style barrel bands that are held on with small screws, and it is fitted with a stamped trigger guard and milled floor plate, all are unnumbered. The left rear scope base is stamped with a single "Eagle/135" proof. The left side of the receiver has a single "Eagle/135" acceptance proof, and left side of both the receiver and barrel have a large a single "Eagle".
